Item donation offer

Thank you for your offer to donate an item to the History Trust of South Australia (HTSA). Our collection relies on the generosity of people who donate objects. We are careful to set priorities to ensure the collection develops appropriately. Before we can accept new items into our collection we need as much information as possible to assess if your item meets our collection criteria. How do we assess your item?

Please complete the following form and attach a photograph of the item(s) and return to the HTSA. A curator will then contact you to discuss the item/s and follow up any questions. Based on our Collections Policy and available resources, we will assess if the proposed item meets the criteria to become part of the collection. Each donation offer is assessed by the Acquisitions committee on a regular basis and a curator will be in contact regarding the outcome of your donation offer as soon as possible.
