Stand-up comedy at the Migration Museum

You are here

Do you want to see something different at this year’s Fringe Festival? Every Friday night of the Adelaide Fringe the Migration Museum is hosting two shows, Celebrating cultural diversity in comedy and local comedian Loc Tran presents Loc & Lol: no need to call the police. Come along, enjoy some stand-up comedy and discover how culturally diverse the local comedy scene is!

Celebrating cultural diversity in comedy features new and established comics from many different cultural backgrounds. An excellent show for the open minded. If you appreciate other cultures and want to celebrate the diversity of culture and talent in comedy, then this is for you.

Loc & Lol: no need to call the police showcases Loc Tran’s fun sense of humour. He says ‘You'll love this show if you: enjoy song parodies; freak out over puns and dad jokes; use self-deprecating humour; like popular culture; like talking about sex and relationships; appreciate other cultures; consider yourself to be a bit of a geek or nerd; or get high on humorous short stories and personal anecdotes.’

The evening promises more than just a comedy show. Join us for a multicultural comedy experience with food and drinks also on offer. If you book tickets by 10 February, you can take advantage of special earlybird offers, including free food and drink on arrival and a chance to win tickets to see Jerry Seinfeld live in Adelaide.
