As well as presenting world-class exhibition content, the History Trust hosts major events including South Australia’s History Festival, the Rock and Roll Rendezvous and Bay to Birdwood.  Our highly experienced curators can offer comment on various aspects of South Australian history as well as contemporary history-related issues. Remembering the 1678 babies born in Adelaide’s Destitute Asylum

Who remembers the 1678 babies born at the Destitute Asylum Lying-in Home? On Mothers’ Day (Sunday 8 May), their names and birthdates will be read at a special event at the Migration Museum.
