Greg is responsible for the overall management of the organisation. He works with the Board to set strategic directions and oversee policy development.

Cutting his teeth as a cabaret musician and department store executive, Greg co-founded and was managing director of Adelaide’s iconic Imprints Booksellers (1984—2007). With a wealth of governance experience, including a term as an Elected a Member of the Adelaide City Council (2000—03) and on the boards of many community benefit, arts and cultural organisations, Greg went on to head up Arts SA, becoming Deputy Chief Executive in the SA Premier’s Department, where his stewardship included the Adelaide Thinkers in Residence Program, Capital City Directorate, and The Integrated Design Commission SA.He was founder and is now Chairman of The Adelaide Festival of Ideas. In 2012 Greg moved to SA Health to head up Office for the Ageing, and interim Director at the Botanic Gardens.

Greg joined the History Trust of South Australia in April 2016.

Allison manages South Australia’s History Festival, which happens each year in May. She also works with South Australia’s community museums team and with the History Trust of South Australia’s museums on various projects and programs.

She has a particular interest in exploring the different ways that people interact with history and museums, and how museums can be made more accessible to a wide variety of visitors – both in the physical space and online.

Donna is a Business Manager with the History Trust of South Australia (a job share arrangement with Rebecca Rudzinski). Donna and Rebecca manage the Business Unit and are responsible for financial management, human resources, records management, ICT helpdesk and server management.

Kevin has worked in state and national museums for over twenty years and is a past president of the Australian Maritime Museums Council. Kevin believes the great strength of the SA Maritime Museum is the ambience of its heritage buildings and its location in the state’s first heritage precinct. “Our stories have greater meaning because we explore history in the places where it happened.”

Dr Kristy Kokegei is a digital historian and strategist at History SA. She manages the development of the History Trust’s digital presence and oversees the production of digital content by all staff.

Kristy also manages the History Trust’s social media channels, providing strategic and tactical support to curatorial and museum staff across various sites.

Kristy’s particular areas of interest and expertise include the application of digital history and the social web, as well as research interests in the history of Australian immigration, citizenship and migrant assimilation.

Kristy is primarily charged with increasing the organisation’s public profile and maintaining visitation to the museums.

Mandy manages the Migration Museum’s people, site, collections, interpretation and strategic direction. Mandy has worked as an historian and curator for over two decades. Her particular areas of interest and expertise include the history of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal relations and relationships to land in South and Central Australia, and the social and migration history of South Australia. Her most recent exhibition and (co-authored) publication is Interned: Torrens Island, 1914-1915 (Adelaide: Wakefield Press, 2014).

Amanda works with South Australia’s community history network to develop and manage projects and programs that enable the community history and museums sector to tell the stories of their communities, manage historical collections and make their history and collections accessible.
