Volunteering

You are here

If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer with us, either in head office, or at one of our three museums, we’d love to hear from you. All you need is some spare time, a general interest in history and a police clearance.

Our many volunteers are invaluable to us. And they get plenty of satisfaction in assisting to preserve, document, and interpret the evidence of South Australian history.

You could become involved in a variety of work including cataloguing collections, maintaining research libraries, research, providing education and school holiday programs, conducting oral history interviews or assisting at exhibition openings and other special events.

For further information contact the Volunteer Co-ordinator at the site you are interest in:
South Australian Maritime Museum - Stuart Davie
National Motor Museum – Matthew Lombard
Migration Museum – Corinne Ball
History Trust of South Australia – Catherine Manning
