Events, whether formal or informal, offer an opportunity to demonstrate commitment to inclusion and accessibility. Applying inclusive practice principles to event planning and management supports not only people living with disability but also those who are not impacted by disability.

Jody has studied law and is currently studying a Bachelor of Business at University of South Australia. She has extensive experience with the DDA and associated instruments. Additionally, grounded knowledge in access issues for both people who have a disability, particularly in events. One of her skills is to incorporate access so it is one with everyone not a separate set of adjustments for people who have a disability.

Additionally, Jody is experienced in the knowledge and training of audio description for people who are blind or vision impaired. Again, she can use this skill in order to make audio description of benefit to various forms of audiences.
