Join us for an online professional development session for teachers where we discuss object-based learning, and how to use the State History Collection in your teaching and learning (with specific reference to the History Festival Poetry Takeover May 2021).
This session will be led by Dr Birgit Heilmann
Birgit contributes to the management of the State History and Migration Museum collections, as well as the development of exhibitions and public programs. She holds a PhD in history from the University of Goettingen, Germany, and has over 10 years of experience in the Museum & Gallery sector. Birgit is passionate about working with the community and delivering engaging museum experiences
The session will also be supported by Karen Blackwood, Manager of the History Festival and Madelena Bendo, Education Manager, History Trust.
