Queer Migrations

The University of Adelaide, RMIT, and the History Trust of South Australia are carrying out a research project funded by the Australian Research Council (LP180100251) which investigates the role that sexuality and gender diversity played in migration to, and mobility within, South Australia, 1950-1999. Interested community members are invited to attend a focus group where you can find out more about participating in the project, share personal stories about migration experiences, and contribute to conversation about the role that museums might play in collecting and documenting LBGTIQ+ histories.

WHEN: Wednesday 26 May. Doors open at 5.45pm for a 6pm start.

WHERE: Memorial Hall, Torrens Parade Ground. Victoria Drive, Adelaide
