Join University Collections, The University of Adelaide and The History Trust of South Australia for a free screening of the documentary Suited.
From producers Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner, Suited tells the story of Bindle & Keep, a Brooklyn tailoring company that looks beyond the gender binary, creating custom-made suits for gender non-conforming and transgender clients. Spotlighting the experiences of a handful of customers, the film clearly demonstrates that one size truly doesn’t fit all. The screening of Suited will be followed by a general discussion of the film and of the relationship between ‘style’ and identity.
