Through the act of craftivism we hope to make connections and community, make political statements, make important cultural objects, make a difference and make a change.

Join the Centre of Democracy as they host Tal Fitzpatrick, author of Craftivism: A Manifesto / Methodology, to learn about craftivism, and hear about Tal’s research and work.

Tal Fitzpatrick is an artist, researcher, craftivist and community development worker based in Melbourne, Australia. In 2018 Tal completed a practice-led PhD research project titled ‘Craftivism as DIY Citizenship: The Practice of Making Change’ with the Centre for Cultural Partnerships at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), University of Melbourne.
