Limited edition Vickers Vimy artwork

To celebrate the centenary of the pioneering first England to Australia flight by South Australia’s Smith brothers in 1919, the History Trust of South Australia has commissioned ‘Vimy Propeller’ – a special photographed limited edition of 50 framed, numbered artworks signed by the original artist, South Australian Gregg Mitchell.

The original artwork is a 1:1 scale of an actual propeller from the historic Vickers Vimy aircraft flown by Sir Ross Smith and his crew in the Greatest Air Race of 1919.

The framed dimensions of the limited edition photograph are 498mm x 498mm, printed on archival fine art matte paper mounted and under non-reflective high grade glass. $450 each (plus postage).

Proceeds from each purchase support the work of The History Trust of South Australia.
